Switzerland

So Saturday, after visiting the CERN, we spent the evening in Lausanne having dinner at "Crêperie la Chandeleur". I loved it, but I didn't have my camera with me so I don't have any photos of it. Anyway, they have a big variety of crepes on the menu both sweet and savory, all extremely delicious but also quite expensive. The place looks really cozy and "familiar". It felt like being in a small chalet with your friend talking and having dinner while it's too cold (-8°) to be outside.

The day after, we spent the morning going around the small city of Renges situated nearby the Lake Geneva. It was even colder than the day before but it was definitely worth it. Hopefully from this photos you will get an idea of how cold and beautiful it was.

CERN

As you can read here, Saturday I left Milano pretty early to go visit the CERN in Geneva. Our train was more than two hours late so we didn't have time to visit Geneva (which apparently was a pity) but I really liked the CERN museum.
Here some pics of it!

(not so) Random thought #2

Why a less than 30 minutes interview counts more than my 6 months of work?

Why I've always been so bad at giving a good first impression? Why most of my friends almost hated me when they first met me?

...

wow.. this is getting really deep.. I'm gonna stop here.

Dancing

How is that I feel so good when I'm dancing?
Every problem just disappear. Or actually they just remain outside of the dance studio. Dancing fulfill the room, or even the whole building. There is not space for problems. When I'm in a dance studio, the only dilemmas I have to deal with are things like "what's after the pirouettes?" or "I should go in that direction so I want kick the person in front of me". I'm completely focused on the steps, the music, what the teacher says and what the people around me are doing.
Nothing else matter.
It feels like living in the moment. There's no before or after. You have to do the choreography now. There are not regrets. You keep doing that step until you do it how it should be done.

Probably this is the real reason why I like dancing so much.

Snowing

I'll probably go out later because I would like to have a pic of the Duomo with the snow..but it's really really cold outside...

Well, at the moment I'm in my 20° apartment and that's what I see from my window.

I have to say it: I'm not the biggest fan of winter and snow. Indeed, that's all I'm thinking of when it is so cold outside.
